What is the mission of a Home Group?
To connect people into groups of 4 -12 who come together on a regular basis for a common purpose - the goal of progressing toward full devotion to Christ. This is accomplished by intentionally providing an environment for connection, community, and spiritual formation.

What are the 5 Core Values of Home Groups?
1. Mandate: Spiritual Transformation
Jesus Christ as head of the church intends his followers to become
like him in word and deed.

2. Method: Home Group Community
A home group provides the optimal environment for the life-change
Jesus Christ intends for every believer.

3. Mobilize: Strategic Leaders
The most strategic person in the life-change process of the church
is the home group leader.

4. Multiply: Span of Care
Groups must expand and multiply so that eventually every believer can be connected to others.

5. Means: Seek and Celebrate
Effective ministry happens in an atmosphere of prayer and celebration.

Ultimately we want to become a church “where nobody stands alone”.
In the community of the home group a form of shepherding takes place
where the leader and members give special care to each other. It is clear
from Ezekiel 34:1-16 that God desires shepherding to involve feeding
the flock, leading them to a place of rest and safety, bringing back those
who are scattered, binding up the broken, strengthening the sick, and
seeking the lost. Although the pastor is the primary shepherd, the
leaders of the home groups function as under-shepherds assisting him
in bringing the flock to full maturity and full surrender to Christ.
