“ Tell me about a typical Sunday morning at CSP.”Sunday mornings are a family affair, and every person in attendance is a member of the family. We are a friendly congregation that loves to worship through music, the Word of God, and strong Biblical teaching. Our first service begins at 8 am. Breakfast is ready and waiting for you at 9 am. (The kids especially love hanging out in the ‘lunchroom’ together!) At 9:30 adults will either attend a small group or a forum led by the rector, while the kids go to go their program at The River. Teens have their own small groups, both for middle school and high school. The second worship service starts at 10:30. By the way, there's plenty of parking. “What should I wear?” Dress ranges from the occasional jacket and tie to casual clothing. What matters is our presence. “What about children?” Infants and toddlers are lovingly welcomed into our nursery, cared for by competent and loving individuals. Nursery care is available beginning at 8am and continues throughout the morning. Toddlers have their own class at 9:30, and are welcomed into the nursery during the 10:30 service. Kids 3rd grade and under attend Children’s Church during the service and return for communion. “What is the worship service like?” We are an Anglican parish, rich in liturgy. Holy Communion is celebrated at both services. Our music blends the strong truths of the ancient hymns with the personal connection of contemporary praise music. Led by both a worship team and a choir, our music expresses our worship of God the Father, through His son, Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. “Anything else I should know?” Yes. It’s worth the drive! |
