Formation Group Series: Good and Beautiful and Kind

I know many of you have started the Formation Group study of Good and Beautiful and Kind. I have already heard positive reviews on how the book is causing deeper reflection on the gospel, scriptures, and the life that God calls us to. My hope is that through this study in the context of your formation groups you will experience growth in your love and commitment to Christ as well as a deeper connection to your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

This blog as a resource

During this study, we will use this blog space to provide weekly reflections and questions that can be used as conversation fodder for your Formation Groups. We will engage the book personally, provide relevant biblical passages, and share questions that may help you get the most out of this study. This resource will be categorized under Formation Group Series. You can also purchase the newly released Discussion Guide from the author at the link below.

Forming your Formation Groups and Getting Started

If you have yet to find or form a group, please let us know so we can help you get plugged in. If you haven’t read the post regarding Formation Groups and our hope for them, please check it out. It is the post entitled Towards a Deeper Formation in Christ.

I want to encourage you to get started. This kind of group experience may be new to you. It may very well feel awkward or uncomfortable. I understand the strong tendency to simply give up or not even give it a try. But I know that if you embrace this process for formation, it will result in fruitful change. You won’t get it perfect, but the blessing we seek is often found along the journey itself.

If you have any questions regarding Formation Groups or questions about the book, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I can be reached by email or phone or in person!

I pray God blesses your Formation Groups as you gather to pray, study, listen, and share. Grace and peace to you.
