Good Friday: The Way of the Cross

We invite you to participate in a solemn journey as we commemorate the Passion of our Lord. Our Good Friday service will move beyond the sanctuary walls, allowing us to walk the Stations of the Cross set up throughout our cemetery grounds.

Our Journey Together:

• The Way of the Cross: We begin at 6:00 PM at the meditation garden of the cemetery. Together, we will walk the stations, pausing at each for scripture, reflection, and prayer as we follow Christ’s final steps to Calvary.

• Service of the Passion: Following our pilgrimage, we will gather in the sanctuary for the traditional Liturgy of Good Friday.

• The Solemn Collects: We will offer the ancient, expansive prayers of the church for the needs of the world and the Church.

• Reading of the Names: We will prayerfully read the roll of parishioners, holding them within the shadow of the Cross as we entrust us all to God’s mercy.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, as we will be outdoors for the first portion of the liturgy.
