Join us as we enter the Sacred Triduum, beginning with the Liturgy of Maundy Thursday. This service invites us into the upper room to witness Christ’s ultimate example of servanthood and the institution of the Holy Eucharist.
The Order of Service:
The Mandatum: Following our Lord's example, we observe the washing of feet, symbolizing his "new commandment" to love one another.
Holy Eucharist: A solemn celebration of the first Last Supper.
Stripping of the Altar: As the service concludes, the sanctuary is stripped bare in silence, symbolizing Christ’s abandonment in Gethsemane.
The Watch: You are invited to remain in quiet prayer for a time following the service as we keep watch.
All are welcome to enter this solemn night of devotion. We begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
